有机合成,电子显微包埋介质的制备,塑料及光学玻璃的接合剂,纺织、皮鞋及造纸的乳化剂,涂料的溶剂、石油添加剂。用作制造丙烯酸酯溶剂型和乳液型胶黏剂的软单体。其低黏度聚合物可用作特种涂料、纸张及皮革加工助剂、纤维处理剂、金属表面处理剂等。由本品制得的聚甲基丙烯酸正丁酯为透明弹性物质,广泛用作飞机座舱安全玻璃和汽车等防弹玻璃的夹层,也用作精密无线电器材。还可以同系列不饱和酯及酸共聚,制取各种用途的材料。主要用于制造丙烯酸酯类聚合物和共聚物。用于制造防弹玻璃和精密无线电器材,石油工业用作油品添加剂。用于有机合成,制造塑料、光学玻璃的黏结剂,纺织、皮革及造纸用助剂。
